Querciabella

Region | Tuscany |
Grapes | 40% Cabernet Franc, 40% Syrah, 20% Merlot |

Our tasting note
Dark, almost impenetrable ruby red. The Turpino - Querciabella's top wine from the Maremma region - is elegant and yet highly expressive. The nose is dominated by aromas of black cherry, plum, mocha, spices and liquorice. Wonderfully balanced on the palate with flavours of pepper, tobacco and Mediterranean herbs. Powerful, round and soft with a long-lasting finish.

Our tasting note
Bright ruby red color. It exudes a wonderful fragrance of dried red fruits, roses, mint, autumn leaves, and exotic spices. Full-bodied, charming, and juicy, balanced with beautiful, elegant tannins and extract. A top-quality Burgundy with an optimal price-to-pleasure ratio!

Our tasting note
Il Borro, the flagship of the winery of the same name, is quoted in the same breath as other great Super Tuscans of the region. Deep ruby red with vibrant light red reflections. Dark fruits of elderberry and cassis in the nose as well as rich spice notes and a little leather. The aromas on the palate are powerful and concentrated, yet velvety with a perfectly balanced acidity/tannin ratio. This wine has a rich, long finish.

Elena Walch
,Tramin (South Tyrol)

Winemaker | Elena Walch |
Region | South Tyrol |
Grapes | 40% Merlot, 40% Pinot Nero, 20% Lagrein |

The classic «saignée» method is used: The must remain in contact with the mash for a short time. The subsequent fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 26°C. Incidentally: The sugar gradation and the fermentation temperature give the wine its name.
Our tasting note
The latest creation from the house of Elena Walch shines in a delicate raspberry pink. Open-hearted nose of raspberries and strawberries accompanied by a fine citrus note. On the palate, it delights with liveliness, freshness, great balance and a wonderful drinking flow. Excellent as an inviting aperitif, but also with light starters and main courses.

Bourgogne Chardonnay AC
Vintage | 2022 |
Winemaker | Alain Chavy |
Region | Burgundy |
Grapes | 100% Chardonnay |
Winemaking
The hand-picked grapes are pressed and chilled for 18 to 20 hours before alcoholic fermentation. The aging on fine lees lasts at least one year and takes place in oak barrels (20% new wood). Afterwards, the various cuvées, corresponding to the different vineyards, are combined in stainless steel tanks where they remain for 7 to 8 months before being bottled.
Our tasting note
The Bourgogne Chardonnay has a clear golden yellow color and is a lively and elegant wine with fragrant notes of green apples and citrus fruits, as well as delicate vanilla notes. On the palate, it is fresh and full-bodied with a good concentration of fruits, especially citrus fruits and apples, and a creamy mouthfeel. Its long finish is reminiscent of the pronounced minerality typical of Puligny-Montrachet.
