Andrea Bartuca visiting Gasthof Bad Schwarzenberg in Gontenschwil.

Andrea Bartuca, Sales Representative at Weibel Wines, recently visited Gasthof Bad Schwarzenberg in Gontenschwil. He enjoyed the specialty "Goldminer’s Plate" with a glass of Rosso di Montalcino DOC from Col d'Orcia, while chatting with hostess Fabienne Böll-Roth:
What do your customers particularly appreciate about Gasthof Bad Schwarzenberg?
Our guests especially love our meat dishes – no surprise, as my husband Flavio is a butcher and cooks in the kitchen himself. Our in-house mineral water and the seasonal variety are also very popular. In the summer, we offer a special BBQ menu with delicacies cooked over an open fire. In autumn, we spoil our guests with wild game from local hunts, while winter is all about our themed weeks – such as the Cordon-Bleu week, featuring seven different variations. And in spring, everyone looks forward to the asparagus season!
Which wines from Weibel Weine are customer favorites?
Some of the favorites among our guests are the Valpolicella Ripasso from San Rustico and the Morellino di Scansano from Podere 414.
What is the house specialty? And what makes it special?

Our house specialty is the "Goldminer’s Plate" – three tender pieces of pork tenderloin with three different sauces, accompanied by seasonal vegetables and crispy fries. The name comes from a legend that our mineral spring was once discovered by gold miners. Additionally, we serve delicious Chateaubriand or entrecôte, which we carve directly at the table for our guests.
