Winemaking
The vineyard covers just 0.17 hectares. The vines, planted in 1959, grow on clay-limestone soils. The vineyard is organically farmed, with mechanical soil cultivation and careful ploughing. The grapes are harvested by hand with a meticulous selection of the fruit directly in the vineyard. The wine is aged for 12 months in 350-liter barrels, 15 to 20% of which are new, followed by a further 4 to 6 months in tanks before bottling.
Our tasting note
Clear straw-yellow color in the glass with delicate green reflections. On the nose, citrus notes dominate, supported by a well-balanced structure. On the palate, it is soft and persistent, with floral aromas—particularly linden blossom—that blend beautifully with the pleasant acidity. The finish reveals a fine salty note that adds an intriguing depth to the wine.
Bruno Colin
Bruno Colin is a passionate winemaker with a solid technical and commercial education from the prestigious wine school of Beaune. In 1993, he joined the family estate Michel Colin-Deleger, where he worked alongside his parents and his brother. The following year, Bruno vinified his first vintage under his own name – the beginning of an independent success story. Today, Bruno Colin cultivates around 8.55 hectares of vineyards in some of the most prestigious terroirs of the Côte de Beaune – including the communes of Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Santenay, and Dezize-les-Maranges. With a total of 20 appellations – among them eight Premiers Crus in Chassagne-Montrachet – Bruno places the utmost importance on expressing the unique character of each plot. With a fine sense of balance and elegance, he captures the individuality of each parcel in his wines – precise, nuanced, and full of personality.
