What do your customers particularly appreciate about La Dolce Vita?
We are two brothers with a passion for Italian cuisine, and we’ve been running La Dolce Vita in Gossau for 26 years. Our restaurant offers fresh, authentic Italian market cuisine – from homemade pasta to crispy pizzas (including gluten-free) to carefully selected meat dishes. Our guests appreciate the family-friendly atmosphere, honest cooking, and our curated wine list.
Which wines from Weibel Weine are customer favorites?
Our guests love trying new wines by the glass – we always offer four carefully selected wines available on tap. The most popular are the Promis Toscana IGP and the Sito Moresco Langhe DOP – both wines that pair perfectly with our cuisine.
What is the house specialty? And what makes it special?
The house specialty is unmistakably meat on the hot salt stone. The salt stone is heated to 250°C in the oven, the meat is seared on both sides in the kitchen, and then served directly on the stone. This keeps the meat wonderfully juicy, forms a delicate salt crust, and continues to cook slowly at the table – a true experience.
