Winemaking

The grapes are gently pressed after harvesting. The fresh must is statically clarified at low temperatures and then fermented in steel tank at a controlled temperature of 20°C. The young wine matures for several months in steel tank on its fine lees.

Our tasting note

The Pinot Grigio captivates with bright straw yellow as well as with fruity notes of ripe pears, white pepper and some sage in the nose. Mineral-salty richness, juicy acidity as well as a persistent finish characterize the palate. A wine with backbone and an excellent food companion.

Responsibility for the family company has now been placed in the hands of daughters Julia and Karoline Walch, as the fifth generation of the family.
