Winemaking

Following 2 weeks of fermentation at 27 °C in horizontal rotation tanks made of stainless steel, the Salice Riserva matures for 9 to 12 months in barriques made from Allier or Tronçais oak, followed by 12 months of maturing in bottles.

Our tasting note

The Salice Riserva glows with an intensive ruby-red colour in the wine glass. The nose is open with echoes of blackcurrant, juniper and vanilla. Wonderful integrated tannins with a complementary melodiousness. Harmonious with an intensive-fruity finish.

Winemaking

Traditional fermentation over 10 to 12 days at a controlled temperature of below 28 °C in large stainless steel tanks. The wine then matures for 12 months in 25- and 75- hectolitre barrels made from Slavonian oak, followed by a short period of maturing in bottles.

Our tasting note

The Rosso di Montalcino is a top-class second wine besides Brunello. This wine has an intense ruby red colour in the wine glass. The nose enchants with notes of ripe raspberries, blackcurrants and plums. In addition to that comes the aroma of violets, as well as a subtle note of oak. It is full-bodied and structured on the pallet. Wonderful integrated tannins with a comfortable freshness. Long-lasting finish with a perfect balance.

The Dolcetto has a ruby-red colour with violet reflections. A fresh breeze of juicy wild berries and cherries. Extremely fresh, fruity and juicy on the pallet. An uncomplicated wine that can be enjoyed any time.

Traditional fermentation is carried out over 10 days at a controlled temperature in steel tanks. Subsequently, the biological acid degradation and maturing in large wooden barrels made of French oak.

Our tasting note

The Lagrein has an intensive, concentrated garnet-red colour. The multi-faceted bouquet seduces the drinker with subtle herbal aromas, wild berries and sweet cherry in the background. It has distinctive tannins, smooth richness, a playful, rustic elegance and a youthful freshness as well as a juicy, long finish.

Winemaking

Following cold fermentation over 36 hours between 6 and 8°C, the Zibibbo matures over 12 days in temperature- controlled stainless steel tanks.

Our tasting note

The Zibibbo has a light straw-yellow colour with green- golden reflections. The nose and pallet are treated to the wonderful Mediterranean aromatic of citrus fruits, orange blossoms, sage, mint and acacias. A superbly fresh white wine, which perfectly expresses the elegance and the richness of the terroir.
